The owners of ( flower cottage were lovely and the offered me wet weather gear for my rucksack. But by this time it had stopped raining . So I set of from Clovelly and had a look around the beautiful gardens before picking up the coastal path. As I was walking along I bumped into a couple of blokes I had seen yesterday and we walked the rest of this leg together. Their names were Rich & Rob from London. They were doing a 10 day walk down to Bude from Minehead. It was a great day for walking and Hartland was beautiful. Some of the waves and rock formations were stunning. We finally made it into Harland Quay at 5 . Unfortunately I was 25 miles from my next B&B oops! Over a meal & a cider I rang a few taxis who quoted me between £40 & £70 pounds! I was in a bit of a fix, as there was no public transport out there. Then as a stroke of luck five other women who I had also met on the path came into the pub and as it was the end of their few days away. They said they could give me a lift into Crackington Haven as they were going down the A39 the Atlantic Highway. Brilliant!
I arrived in Crackington Curtiss of Sue about 8ish so I was able to spend a lovely evening with Annie, Nigel Mick plus others. It was great. Swimming in the sea tomorrow x
