i took the day off today, my feet needed it. I spent a very pleasant afternoon at Tunnels Beach in the sun shine with Verity looking down on us. ( she is my new hero) Just chilling and paddling to help with the blisters. Early start tomorrow to Woolacombe 13+ miles so not going to leave it to late. Will have my own room tomorrow and hope an opportunity for a bath. Must also say paw-paw cream is wonderful for chaffed thighs! It was all down to my stupid walking skirt, so if any one wants it who has skinny thighs it’s going begging.
Day 5 And Relax

I will be retiring again after a lifetime in the NHS and returning in 2016, because my pension wasn’t going far enough. ( I am a WASPI woman) I live in Northampton with my husband Andy & we have one daughter who lives with her partner in London. I am a keen walker and completed 300 miles of the Southwest Coastal path through August in 2015 Due to returning to work, illness of my father I have only just sorted doing the second half next June/July. As before I will record my journey from Poole, Dorset back to St Just, Cornwall. View all posts by northcote9
Skinny thighs … What are those? The picture in my mind of your ‘fat’ thighs chaffed to buggery is keeping me going this week.
