The picture on my blog is Little Mi of Moomin fame. She is a character that I have loved since I read the stories and watched the TV series with my daughter Lauren. Fortunately I have a friend who is Finnifh and she bought me a mascot back from a holiday. So Little Mi will be travelling with me on my walk. She can be mischevious but full of fun, so hopefully she will help me up those hills; hopefully she will not push me off the edge!

I will be retiring again after a lifetime in the NHS and returning in 2016, because my pension wasn’t going far enough. ( I am a WASPI woman) I live in Northampton with my husband Andy & we have one daughter who lives with her partner in London. I am a keen walker and completed 300 miles of the Southwest Coastal path through August in 2015 Due to returning to work, illness of my father I have only just sorted doing the second half next June/July.
