Off on Saturday

I am excited and a little apprehensive as Saturday approaches. It feels like a big adventure. Will be catching the train about midday, with two changes, should be in Minehead early evening. Then start the walk on Sunday – Minehead to Porlock. Think I have everything. Also received lots of good wishes & generous donations for Care With A Difference so the show next year should be a corker. Next time I blog I will be on my way. X

I will be retiring again after a lifetime in the NHS and returning in 2016, because my pension wasn’t going far enough. ( I am a WASPI woman) I live in Northampton with my husband Andy & we have one daughter who lives with her partner in London. I am a keen walker and completed 300 miles of the Southwest Coastal path through August in 2015 Due to returning to work, illness of my father I have only just sorted doing the second half next June/July. As before I will record my journey from Poole, Dorset back to St Just, Cornwall.
